Sabbatical Week

I am in F1 School Workshop for Sabbaticals, and it was fun. It was held in the technical workshop in SRC, and we were going to do a race with our own hand-made D-type Racer. The car plane is made of a light wood called balsa, but when the shaped wood was given to us, it was very rough and coarse. We had to sand it with the two pieces of sandpaper that were handed to us and we could paint it ourselves! At first, I regretted coming into this sabbatical as it costed me 100 dollars, and the work were to be done ourselves. After everything, I changed my mindset and found out that the fun part was the making of the plane. I painted only one layer( which meant I did not make any mistake, not like other people with 3 or 4 layers.) Today we had the race, which I think was the whole cost spent on. The race track was 24 or 22 metres long, and is made of heavy metal. It had laser sensor which was very accurate, and also had air canisters for the carbon dioxide which speeded the car across. When all the "GO" lights had went off, you are supposed to press the button as quickly as possible. Thus, all about D-type Racing is not only the structure of the car, but the reaction time too. I was to race George, and because he had two layers of paint, his was quite heavy. My reaction time was 280, and his was 230, which made a big difference in the racing, but due to the weight, mine speeded when it started, and thus I won George, which I am happy for, as mine was ugly due to the little layers of paint.

Jack Neo

As seen on the newspaper, Jack Neo has been found out having an affair with a freelance model less than half his age for two years. It was exposed by the model herself, after she went to Jack Neo's house at Pasir Ris.

Chinese evening daily Lianhe Wanbao said Miss Wendy Chong, 22, was upset that Neo, 50, had apparently lied to her and demanded to see his wife on Friday. Neo met Chong when she got a bit role as a nurse in his movie, Money No Enough 2, two years ago, and has a meatier role as Mark Lee's sister-in-law in his latest film, Being Human, which opened on Thursday, said The New Paper on Sunday.

Mrs Kng, Jack's wife, had already known about the affair and decided to close one eye as long as she still loves him.

What do you think about this affair? I think, in relation to Tiger Woods, and from all the movies I had watched, everyone, as they become richer, will have a bigger desire and will go wild, thus leading to the risk of having an affair.

Weekend

Hello! Long time no see! Just went out with the whole family to cut my hair. Now I think its too short :P ... Going to tuition, Bye!

End Of Term

Whoa, it was so fast. The term has ended. I am very sad, as I do not have good results. I hope to stop my addiction of Internet and can continue studying, so as to get good results. I really regret not doing my best. I hope I can improve a lot and make my parents happy. :( . I have enjoyed my Term 1 but never liked the results of enjoying too much.

EOTA

Today, we had EOTA. It was bowling. Too bad Mrs Chai was not here, it was so fun! I was at Lane 8, I think, with Sze Chuan, Xuan Meng, and Darrell. As I know from last year's chalet, Sze Chuan and Marcus Lau were good in their bowling. Today, as I expected, I saw Sze Chuan get 123 for his first game, which is approximately 12 per a bowl. I got 67, which was not very good. Darrell was very funny as his ball always get into the gutter, and xuan meng always fall down and his ball would bounce( which was quite cool). And as i was thirsty and hungry, I bought some chips and a can of coke. It was fun! Overall, I would want to go again.

After the Home Learning, I was very tired. I have learned quite a lot of things, and i hop there will be a Home Learning session every term.

Interviewer:Do you think prejudice is present on the story?

Brother:Yes, it is very obvious.

I: How do you think it affects the life of Maycomb county folks?

B: I think that it involves everyone's lives, in various ways: gossip, mocking, and even in court.

I: How do you think about the discrimination towards blacks ?

B: I think that it is very unfair, as almost everyone dislike blacks, and whites will always win over blacks in a court case, which means even law is corrupted. And only people like Atticus and Ms Maudie are righteous enough to differentiate what is right and wrong.
